June 5, 2013 - June 7, 2013
The 10th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the Canadian Disability Studies Association (CDSA-ACEI) will be held June 5, 6, and 7, 2013, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The meeting is part of the Disability Congress 2013 of the Humanities and Social Sciences/L'Incapacité congrès 2013 des Sciences Humaines. Register for our conference at http://www.congress2013.ca/register. Please note both the Congress 2013 and the Association Meeting Fee are required. Contact us if you have any questions or problems with registration. For our delegates and presenters that require accessibility services to attend our conference, please contact our conference organizers with your accessibility needs. CDSA-ACEI will endeavour to provide accessibility services at its conference to the best of its financial and personnel availabilities but no guarantees are possible. We are excited to have the opportunity for our delegates to attend a Congress-sponsored special event on the first day of our conference. Congress 2013's "Big Thinking lecture series" includes Judith Heumann, an internationally recognized leader in the disability community. Our conference programme will be adjusted to enable all our delegates to attend Judith's lecture on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, from 12:15 to 1:20pm. For more information about our 2013 conference, go to the "Annual Conference" page.
