Thinking of pursuing graduate studies in September 2014?
The MA and PhD Program in Critical Disability Studies at York University, Toronto, Canada is accepting admission applications for September 2014 entry with a deadline fast approaching - February 5th, 2014. We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including persons with disabilities engaged in the disability rights movement, government civil servants, professionals in the field of disability and people working in non-governmental organizations such as community organizations and advocacy groups. You'll have the opportunity to become involved in Disability Rights Promotion International (DRPI), a collaborative international project working to establish a comprehensive and sustainable international system to monitor human rights issues relating to people with disabilities.
Note that all supporting documents (e.g. Supplementary Program Information Form, List of Referees, 3 Letters of Recommendation, Statement of Interests, C.V. or resume, one writing sample, originally transcripts), not only the application form, must be received by the Admissions Office at York University by this deadline. Interested parties are highly recommended to initiate the application process by completing an online admissions application as soon as possible in order to be able to proceed with the rest of the procedures outlined on the program website at http://www.yorku.ca/gradcdis/
