UFCW & OFG Joint Diversity Scholarship

The Overwaitea Food Group has partnered with United Commercial and Food Workers Union (UFCW) Local 1518 to offer up to ten scholarships valued at $1000 each to individuals who have played a significant role in diversity initiatives in their school and/or community.

The UFCW & OFG Joint Diversity Scholarship is open to BC residents who are pursuing a part-time or full-time post-secondary program within the province of British Columbia. This scholarship will be open to applicants in all stages of their post-secondary education. Please note that OFG team members, UFCW Local 1518 members and their dependents are not eligible for this scholarship.

Applicants are asked to provide a letter that outlines their career goals and objectives and describes their involvement with diversity initiatives in their school and/or community.
