Youth The Future Program Halifax Looking for Referrals/Clients 15-30 Years Old

Youth The Future (YTF) is a pre-employment training program through the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW). Do you identify as living with a disability? Are you between 15 and 30? We provide youth with barriers to employment with job-readiness training, in preparation for finding ongoing, entry-level work. This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada's Skills Link Program.

6 WEEKS of PAID, in-class job-readiness training 
• Learn how to effectively job search
• Create resumes and cover letters 
• Interview techniques
• All the skills and knowledge you need to SUCCEED in today’s workplace!
 
YTF staff support you every step of the way to help you find, interview for and obtain your job. 14 WEEKS of PAID employment (min 25hrs/week) 
• Support and empower you through transition
• Continuous feedback and coaching
• Weekly PAID classroom training throughout employment phase
