CBC PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES PLACEMENTS

CBC has launched a twelve-week paid placement program for persons with disabilities.

The goal of the program is to help launch meaningful careers for those facing barriers to employment by offering networking and development opportunities as well as on-the-job training.

The program runs from Sept. 10, 2018, to Nov. 30, 2018, in Toronto. Over the course of twelve weeks, six selected candidates will be immersed in various departments within CBC’s Broadcast Centre and gain valuable hands-on experience, industry knowledge and have the opportunity to build their careers and network with CBC's team of accomplished leaders.

Applications are now open for the following six positions:

Associate Production Executive – Unscripted Content (Mentorship)
Media Presentation – Closed Captioner
Program Assistant – CBC Sports
Program Assistant – CBC Kids News Service
Researcher – CBC Arts
Researcher, Social Media – Comedy & Scripted
