Wayne and Walter Gretzky Scholarship Foundation
The Foundation honours the Gretzky's commitment to visually impaired young Canadians.
Established in 1996, the foundation continues the Gretzky family tradition
of assistance to eligible blind and visually impaired students studying or planning to
study at the post-secondary level.
To be eligible applicants must be blind or severely visually impaired, planning to or
currently pursuing full time studies and be a Canadian citizen or Landed immigrant
for at least one year prior to submitting an application for consideration.
Applicants are expected to have achieved high academic standing and have superior
intellectual ability. Those skills can be demonstrated through an essay and responses
on the application form. The award is worth $5,000 and the number of awards may
vary. Applications must be received by August 1st. For additional information contact
