Fairview and District Association For The Disabled Award

There are two awards offered through the Fairview and District Association For the Handicapped. One award is given to the student "who has shown the most positive attitude towards all aspects of the program, including work experience, course work and fellow students." No application is necessary. Selection for the award is made by the Transitional Vocational Program and it is presented on Awards night. The Fairview and District Association, is offered to a student with a disability who has graduated from the Transitional Vocational Program and has shown the most improvement in both course work and work experience. The same selection criteria apply.

Ken Smith Memorial Award

This award is awarded to a disabled student who has graduated from the Transitional Vocational Program, and "who best exhibits extra-curricular involvement in student activities and student leadership" in the program. The same selection criteria apply as with the previous award.
Value: $200
