The Special Achievement BursaryThis bursary is offered to one disabled
student. In order to be eligible, applicants
must indicate financial need and have a
good academic standing, with a minimum
B average. Applicants are not required
to present documented proof of
their disability. Requests for information
and application forms for these bursaries
may be sent to the disabled student services
office. However, it is a better idea to
contact the Student Awards Office on
campus, which is located in Needles Hall.
The application deadlines are: September
30th (Fall Term), January 30th (Winter Term), and May 30th (Spring Term).
Ross & Doris Dixon Bursary for Students With DisabilitiesOne or more bursaries, valued up to $2,000, are awarded annually to students with disabilities who are experiencing financial difficulties and are studying on a full- or part-time basis in a degree status or non-degree status program. A minimum overall academic average of 70% is required. Applicants should apply on the general Undergraduate Bursary/Award Application, indicate their eligibility for assistance from this source in their covering letter and attach appropriate documentation outlining their disability or indicate that they have documentation on file at the Office for Persons with Disabilities.
