Summer Language Bursary Program
This program provides bursaries to Canadian students, to study either
English or French as a second language at participating post-secondary
schools across Canada. The program involves a five-week immersion
course, featuring a mix of in-class instruction and community cultural
events. Students are either placed in a college, university or CEGEP residence,
or with a family for the duration of the program. Accommodation
and meal expenses are covered by the bursary.
Canadian students who have completed at least grade 11 (or secondaire
V in Quebec), and who are enrolled as a full-time student for at least one
semester, are eligible to apply for the Summer Language Bursary Program.
