Funding and Scholarship Programs

Wales Scholarship

This fund provides $6,000 annually for one or more disabled Nova Scotia residents pursuing post-secondary studies. The Wales Scholarship was set up by the provincial government to commemorate the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Applicants for this award must be Nova Scotia residents with disabilities, beginning or continuing post-secondary studies at an institution in the province, and ineligible to receive assistance under the provincial EAPD program. Applications are due by June 15 each year.
