High School TransitionFunding and Scholarship ProgramsGloria Landis Memorial BursaryThis bursary was created to honour the memory of Gloria Landis, for her contributions and achievements with the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario. It provides assistance to mature individuals with learning disabilities entering their first year of a post-secondary program, after an absence of three or more years from full-time studies. $1,000 is awarded annually for this bursary. Applicants must be Ontario residents with a diagnosed learning disability. They must also be at least 25 years of age and have been out of school for at least three years. They must be accepted into a post-secondary institution by the time the fund is awarded, and be considered a mature student according to that institution’s regulations. Finally, applicants must not have won this award previously. Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario
