Community Involvement of the Disabled (CID)

This organization works with members of the community, to provide advocacy and leadership for people with disabilities. Some of the CID’s accomplishments include initiating the Handi-Trans bus system in Nova Scotia, working to ensure people with disabilities are represented in government legislation, and implementing various recreation programs for people with disabilities.
