High School TransitionNon-Governmental OrganizationsARCH: A Legal Resource Centre for People with DisabilitiesARCH is a community-based, not-for-profit legal clinic and legal resource centre for people with disabilities. The centre was founded in 1980, and is dedicated to protecting and advancing the equality of people with disabilities. Through funding from the Ontario government and independent donors, ARCH’s small staff of lawyers and community workers provide advice and referrals, offer legal representation in precedent-setting disability rights cases, undertake law reform activities, and educate the public on the legal rights of people with disabilities. The Toronto office of ARCH houses a library and resource centre open to the public for disability-related legal information. ARCH
