Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

The mandate of this organization is to provide products and services designed to ensure accessibility for those with hearing impairments. Among the services the Institute provides are hearing tests and hearing aid evaluations, employment skills counselling, life skills and education counselling, and interpretation. The Institute also features a reconditioned hearing aid program for those on fixed incomes, a communication aids store, and a resource room.
