Northwest Territories Council for Disabled Persons

The mission of this organization is to encourage and support the independence of people with disabilities in the Northwest Territories. The Council works to promote the accessibility of all communities, and the full integration of people with disabilities into those communities. It does this through awareness and advocacy activities, designed to increase the understanding of the issues faced by people with disabilities. Finally, the Council provides advice for people with disabilities on resources available to them, funding options, and other vital information.
