Description	Disability and History: A Roundtable Discussion in Winnipeg on February 13 Join moderator Allen Mankewich and four disability researchers for a conversation on the why and how of disability history. Learn more about specific histories, such as disability in medieval Iceland; disability and the Holocaust; race, war, and disability; and the invention of braille. Explore the presence (or absence) of disability history in contemporary public life�in museums, media and public art. Disability history can shape both perceptions and experiences of disability. Come and share your ideas about the present and the future of disability history.
