British Columbia Grant

The BC Grant was introduced in 1987 as one of a number of recommendations from a review of student financial assistance in British Columbia. Grant funding is available to eligible students in high financial need, who are enrolled in their first 136 weeks of full-time post-secondary study. Eligible students are those with assessed need in excess of $105 per week of study.

Students attending private training schools are not eligible for the BC Grant. To be considered for a grant you must first be eligible for a Canada Student Loan. For more information on B.C. student loans or grants contact:
