Learning Disabilities Association of Canada (LDAC)

This organization aims to advance the educational and employment opportunities, social development and legal rights of people with learning disabilities. Founded in 1963, it now has some 10,000 members who are students, parents, educators, medical professionals, and lawyers. The Association has provincial and territorial chapters across the country, and is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors representing those chapters.

Students will find important general information on the LDAC Web site concerning learning disabilities, and on specific topics covering learning disabilities in the workplace, schools and communities. Contact details for each provincial chapter are also featured on the site.
