Disability SavingsMaking the RDSP Work for You – Government Grants to Help People with Disabilities and their Families Save for the FutureThe Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a very exciting federal government program. Canada is the first country in the world to have a retirement savings plan specific for persons with disability. RDSP benefits are substantial; however, the program is fairly complex. Conrad will explain exactly how people can open an RDSP and how much money they can expect to receive. The territories and most provinces will not factor in RDSP assets and RDSP income when calculating disability assistance payments. In addition, gifts and inheritances can also be placed in an RDSP without affecting any rights to federal and provincial disability assistance. The presentation will provide accurate information and make the processes as clear and easy to understand as possible. Speakers | Conrad Winn |
