October recognizes a lot of great causes: ADHD Awareness Month, Mental Health Awareness Week and Small Business Awareness Week, just to name a few!

Join us for the Third Annual strADDegies for Success Expo (previously called the Nova Scotia ADHD Awareness Expo) on Wednesday, October 19th from 1-7pm at Alderney Landing!

You can expect to find all kinds of resources that will help youth and adults with cross-disABILITIES lead a successful life both, in and out of school.

We've got some great press over the past few years and we're expecting even more exposure with this expanded focus this year!

This year, we moved the venue to the Alderney Landing Market in order to make it more accessible for people coming from Halifax :)

We are expecting between 60-80 booths this year!

We have up to 80 booths available at just $100 +HST so please contact us to book yours today!

No, all ages are welcome!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There are plenty of parking options close by to the event.

Keith Gelhorn is the CEO (Chief Empowerment Officer) at ADDvocacy ADHD & Life Skills Coaching Ltd. ADDvocacy provides coaching and for youth and adults living with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Aspergers / Autism, Executive Function, Mental Health Challenges and other Diverse-Abilities in their transition to: post-secondary, career exploration, entrepreneurship and skilled trades.

In ADDition, we also provide peer-led ADHD as well as Diversity & Inclusion Training for educators,employers and case workers on how to maximize productivity and coach this diverse workforce.

On September 1st, 2016 we will be moving to our new location within the Atlantic ADHD Centre at 245 Pleasant Street in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Founded by Dr. Joseph Sadek (Psychiatrist) and Nova Scotia's leading ADHD expert, the centre will include an interdisciplinary team comprised of:

For 2016, we are also rolling out "StrADDegies for Success" - A series of workshops designed for youth and adults living with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, High Functioning Autism / Aspergers, Executive Function challenges, Mental Health and other high funtioning Diverse-Abilites who are exploring their transitioning into adulthood.

- Career Transiton - Did you know there are all kinds of community resources and grants to help you succeed?
