Dr. Patricia Pardo, Coordinator, Disability Resource Centre

Adjunct Professor, University of Calgary: Dr. Pardo has spent the last fifteen years of her career examining disability, diversity and equity related issues. She has also had the opportunity to work with post- secondary students with a disability by teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in the areas of equity and disability. Pat has received her PhD in Educational Psychology, with a specialization in disability and multicultural organizational change. She is currently the Coordinator of the Disability Resource Centre (Students and Academic Services) and adjunct professor with the Community Rehabilitation Studies Program and the Masters of Teaching Program at the University. She also sits on numerous boards, including the Board of the Canadian Association of Independent Living Centres and the Alberta Premier's Council on the Status of Disabled Persons.
