Post-secondary Students Involvement in and Perceptions of Individualized Learning Supports
My name is Christine Crawford, and I am a student in the Education department at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am conducting a research project called Post-secondary Students Involvement in and Perceptions of Individualized Learning Supports for my Master’s degree under the supervision of Dr. Gabrielle Young and Dr. Christine Arnold. The purpose of the study is to determine which academic learning supports are being utilized by post-secondary students, and whether or not they have found these academic learning supports beneficial.
I am contacting you to invite you to participate in an online survey in which you will be asked to answer 14 questions. These questions will ask about your personal experiences with academic accommodations and individualized learning supports throughout your post-secondary studies. Participation will require approximately 10-15 minutes of your time and can be done at any time which is convenient for you. The link for the online survey will be available for you to access for one month.
Please note: This research study is not a requirement of any services or programs provided by NEADS. All information is kept private and confidential; therefore, NEADS will not know who chooses to participate, and who does not participate in this research study. NEADS will not be involved in any part of this research project, other than for distribution purposes only.
