NEADS and Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Partnership Announcement

The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) is proud to announce a partnership with Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L Financial Group) that focuses on increasing access to education for students with disabilities (undergraduate, graduate, college, and cégep). NEADS and CC&L Financial Group recognize the importance of meeting students with disabilities where they are on in their post-secondary education and career path journeys. 

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Student Award

This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to persons with disabilities in higher education who display community leadership, and show interest in a business-oriented career. 

Recipients of this scholarship will be limited to students who are enrolled in a three or more year program in business, economics, computer science/technology, engineering or a related program at an accredited college or university located in Canada, and will be selected on the basis of financial need.

About the NEADS Student Awards Program

Established in 2007, the NEADS National Student Awards Program encourages full access to post-secondary education for persons with disabilities, who often have greater barriers to participation in higher education, as well as extra costs because of their disabilities. The program administers six awards: $3,000 value NEADS Student Awards, $1,000 value Holly Bartlett Memorial Award, $1,000 value Christine Nieder Memorial Award, $1000 value Bridgeman Hogue Memorial Scholarship for the visually impaired, $10,000 value Canada Post Award, and two Accessible Media Inc (AMI) – Robert Pearson Memorial Scholarships valued at $5000 each. To date, the NEADS Student Awards Program and AMI has delivered over $350,000 in student financial assistance.
