ASC x BHER: A 360 Degree Assessment of the Duty to Accommodate Framework in Workplace Accommodation Provision

The Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER) is working on a research project, funded by Accessibility Standards Canada, to better understand the duty to accommodate. The input interview participants share will be used to develop practical recommendations to improve workplace practices, standards, and policies in federally regulated sectors.

BHER is looking for individuals who can share their lived experiences. Specifically folks who:
- Identify as a person with a disability developed before the age of 15;
- Are currently participating or have previously participated in a work-integrated learning (WIL) experience (e.g., co-op, internship, industry project, placement, hackathon) in a federally regulated sector (banking, telecommunications, aerospace, nuclear energy, air transportation, railways and trucking, marine shipping/ports/ferries, postal services, Federal Public Service, Crown corporations, or related sectors)
- Have experience requesting or receiving workplace accommodations within this federally regulated sector; and
- Are willing to share their experiences with the duty to accommodate process.
