Congratulations to Kent Hehr, Member of Parliament, Calgary Centre!
Huge applause for and congratulations to Kent Hehr on his historic election victory last night in the riding of Calgary Centre! Kent served the people of Alberta brilliantly as a member of the Alberta Legislature from 2008-2015 for the riding of Calgary-Buffalo. Now, he will coming to Ottawa to contribute on the national scene as a Member of Parliament in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberal government.
I am very proud to have worked closely with Kent and to have witnessed his outstanding leadership and people skills when he was the President of the National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) in the mid-late 1990s. Many of you in the NEADS family will know Kent and have kept in touch with him over the years and may wish to congratulate him as well.
