Association québécoise pour l'équité et l'inclusion au postsecondaire (AQEIPS) Organizes From Primary School to University: the Challenge of Inclusive Practices

Description:

Real accessibility, learning achievement, social inclusion of students with disabilities or learning difficulties and students facing disability situations only occur within inclusive institutions. However, inclusion today is still a challenge for schools and, in general, the Québec society. Opinions are polarized around its implementation and how to overcome obstacles, and there is no consensus among front-line stakeholders. The goal of this study day is to try to overcome these obstacles and identify concrete courses of action to implement inclusion. We wish to bring together different ideas and perspectives and share them with all those who are affected by inclusion (practitioners, pupils, students, parents, researchers) at all school levels.
