Complete The Survey for the Standard for Psychological Health and Safety of Post-Secondary Students

About the project

The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) is developing a new standard on psychological health and safety for post-secondary students (PSS Standard), with a release date expected for early 2020. Like the MHCC’s Standard for the workplace, the PSS Standard will be a voluntary framework to help Canada’s academic institutions promote and support students’ psychological health and safety as well as their success.

A key objective for its development is ensuring the engagement of a broad cross-section of people and organizations across the country; that is, to be as inclusive and accessible as possible.

About this survey

The MHCC is seeking input from across the country to promote the psychological health and safety of students and promote #studentsuccess at the post-secondary level.

By completing this survey, you will be contributing to the PSS Standard’s final form and supporting post-secondary students’ mental health. We greatly appreciate all the time and effort you dedicate to this cause. This survey is completely anonymous and no personal identifying information will be gathered.

This survey will close on June 1, 2019.

How the data will be used

The survey data will be sent directly to the standards development experts at CSA Group, who the MHCC is working with to develop he PSS Standard. The CSA technical committee, representing a diverse set of affected stakeholders, is responsible for drafting its technical content. To learn more about the ongoing development of the PSS Standard and the technical committee, visit the CSA Group website and join CSA Communities.
