Disability Studies at King's hiring TAs

CALL FOR APPLICANTS

Are you an energetic and highly organized student passionate about the field of Disability Studies? We are currently hiring several Teaching Assistants (TA) in Disability Studies at King’s University College, Western University in London, Ontario for the 2020-2021 academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of the field, strengthen your graduate school application and make a bit of extra spending money.We’re looking for candidates dedicated to their own scholastic pursuit interested in using their experience, energy and enthusiasm to support first and second year students in the faculty.

TA duties may include supporting zoom meetings, advising students on upcoming assignments, responding to OWL discussions, running virtual tutorials/study sessions and generally mentoring students through the class. While all are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed DS1010, DS2201 and DS2202 with +75% average, have previous experience in tutoring/teaching, marking and/or proctoring at any levelTo apply, please email a cover letter & resume to jeff.preston@uwo.ca by 5pm on Friday, August 28th.
