Kick Start – Q & A Info Session for Students Preparing for the Upcoming School Year – Accessibility in Online Learning

The fall term is just around the corner, and we know you are busy with final preparations for the first day of class at your chosen institutions. This term is going to be unique as schools have adapted to online and blended learning environments. This includes delivery considerations and planning for accessibility services.

You are invited to Q & A sessions with coordinators and staff from various Accessibility Services across the province of British Columbia. The sessions will be co-hosted with representatives from three provincial accessibility support organizations: Post-Secondary Communication Access Services (PCAS), Assistive Technology BC (AT-BC) and The Centre for Accessible Post-secondary Education Resources (CAPER-BC).

We’re here to help you with these final steps in preparing for your online accessibility and answer any questions you may have! We can help you explore the various supports and technologies available to you. We also want to hear about your successes and challenges you may have encountered in the Spring with online distance learning.

We want you to feel as prepared as possible so that you have a successful start to the new term!
