NEADS Virtual Coffee with Accessibility Radio Show host Alison Klein

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. EST, Friday January 29th

Guest Speaker:
My name is Alison Klein. I am currently in a Master's Degree program in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on disability at Athabasca University. When I'm not studying, I have a bi-weekly radio show in Vancouver at CFRO Co-op Radio 100.5 FM called The Self Advocate, which talks about arts and culture in the disability community. I also podcast it afterwards. I also attend many disability events both in person and now virtual! If that's not enough work, I volunteer with the Special Olympics, helping to coach basketball in Vancouver. When I'm not doing something with disability, I enjoy knitting, watching reality TV and soap operas (The Young and The Restless is my favourite), drinking tea, and eating chocolate.

The Self-Advocate with Alison Klein online!
