What to expect as a Summer Student?

As a summer student you will be working with talented professionals in your field of interest, working on day-to-day tasks as well as on special project(s) with your designated team.

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program

• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

• Adaptable: ability to work effectively in different situations and/or with different people

• Excellent written/ verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

• Research, analytical, organizational and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Ability to exercise sound judgment; problem-solving skills

• Various linguistic profiles (English/French) dependent on position

• Specific skills related to various areas of the business, such as (but not limited to)

o Engineering: AutoCAD experience and working knowledge, Visual Basic for Applications, Python, R, C,

C++, Optimization, Simulation, any other programming skills

o Graphic Design: Excellent knowledge of design software such as lnDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

o Business Transformation: Python/SOL coding, Data, Basic Statistics

o Health & Safety: Must possess valid full driver's licence from the province of hire and willing to travel by air and ground within Canada

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible for the Summer Student Employment, you must meet the following criteria:

• Study in one of the Corporation's areas of business mentioned above

• Have completed your first year of University, College or Cegep, and

• Be enrolled for the following year
