About NEADS

The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) is a by-and-for, cross-disability, cross-Canada charitable organization supporting full access to education and employment for disabled post-secondary students and graduates. NEADS works across three strategic areas of debt reduction, experience in-class and on-campus, and employment. By doing so, we offer a variety of events, resources, reports, financial assistance programs, and opportunities for disabled students and graduates.

We collaborate with post-secondary stakeholders, other non-governmental organizations, employers, disability service providers, and community members to improve opportunities in higher education and the labour market for disabled students. We also provide ongoing advice to Employment and Social Development Canada and provincial / territorial governments and work to promote government programs and services that support higher education for disabled students.
