Call for Presentations - 8th Annual Guelph Accessibility Conference
Presentation Proposal Deadline: Friday, January 22, 2016
Treat the Accessibility for Ontarians With Disabilities Act (AODA) standards as "the floor, not the ceiling" as Mayo Moran noted in her Second Legislative Review of the AODA.
How have you or your institution addressed barriers faced by individuals with disabilities or encouraged inclusive thinking or actions in organizations? Share your vision of the goals of the legislation. As always, the Organizing Committee is also interested in presentations related to the AODA Standards:
• Web, document, and media accessibility
• Adaptive technology
• Disability research and accommodation
• Inclusive design
• Accessible teaching and learning
• National and international accessibility issues.
The Guelph Accessibility Conference takes place May 30 - 31, 2016.
Priority will be given to presentations that provide attendees with a framework to move from ideas to action. Visit the detailed Call for Presentations description. http://accessconf.ca/sessions/ Deadline: Submit your proposal by Friday, January 22, 2016
