Students in Ontario recommend the elimination of the ‘Student Choice Initiative’

On January 29 CFS-Ontario Chairperson Nour Alideeb presented to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. On behalf of the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario she made three recommendations to the committee. The first recommendation is to eliminate the ‘Student Choice Initiative’ and reverse the decision on opt-out ancillary fees.

The “Student Choice Initiative” is not an attempt to save students money, but really an attack on student democracy.
